After qualifying as a Chartered Management Accountant in 2002 I set up a soft services company with my partner, growing it from nothing to employing over 600 staff within 7 years.

When we sold the business I took a career break to follow a passion for cooking and ran my own bistro for 2 years. Along side this I also set up my own bookkeeping practice which operated for 9 years before emigrating to New Zealand in 2017.

Since having my son at the end of 2019 I have again been working for myself with a porfolio of clients ranging from coffee carts and driving instructors to digital marketing specialists and recruitment agency.

When I'm not working I like to support local charities and have, in the past, ran 2015 miles in a year to help raise funds for a childrens charity. I also love to travel and am looking forward to taking my son on a trip to experience Christmas in Winter.
